AIDS-related cancer, KS (Kaposi sarcoma) was at one time an infrequent ailment which principally afflicted elderly males from the Mediterranean or Jew descendant, organ transplantation patient, or African youngster males. This type is known as endemic (classic) Kaposi Sarcoma. But, the seventies and eighties saw a steep rise in the number of Kaposi Sarcoma cases.
